    Day 01
    UK - Flight to Bali - Denpasar
    Today you board your flight to Bali.

    Day 02
    Denpasar - Ubud
    On arrival at Denpasar Airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to Ubud region. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure to take in the ambience of the area.  Enjoy a welcome dinner (depending on the time you arrive), stay overnight at hotel.

    Day 03
    Barong and Keris Dancers - Kemenuh – Lake Batur - Tampak Siring
    After breakfast we see the performance of the famous traditional skilled Bali dancers. One of the dances is the famous Barong and Keris Dance that tells a story of the ancient Ramayana. The dance expresses the eternal fight between good and evil spirits ending with the magical Keris (dagger) dance. We will then proceed to the Village of Kemenuh to visit the talented Balinese wood carving artists in their traditional workshops to see how they make beautiful statues and art out of a single block of wood. The journey continues to Kintamani for a view of the breathtaking Lake Batur and the active Volcano of Mount Batur. Here will be an opportunity to enjoy lunch with this excellent view. Our next destination is Tempak Siring, The Fountain of Youth and Holy Spring, and on the way back we will visit the famous silversmiths of Celuk. We return to the hotel after an exciting day. Dinner and overnight in Ubud.

    Day 04
    Pura Taman Ayun - Mengwi Temple - Rice Terraces Jatiluwih
    After breakfast today we travel into the midlands of Bali Island to discover the ancient relics and natural beauty of Balinese midlands. The day starts with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th century temple of Mengwi, set in a beautiful park with trees and ponds full of lotus blossoms. The large spacious temples and multi-tiered shrines are surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Continue to Bedugul, a village in the central highlands famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes. Stroll around the traditional market where a myriad of fruits, vegetables, orchids, exotic spices and souvenirs are for sale. At the nearby Lake Bratan, you can photograph the Ulun Danu temple, built on small islands in the serene lake. After lunch in a local restaurant drive southwards to the famous Unesco heritage listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Trek through this area of green stepped rice fields and hear about the Subak irrigation system that has been preserved by the Balinese farmers for centuries. Return to your hotel via scenic roads. Dinner and overnight in Ubud.

    Day 05
    Mount Agung - Besakih temple - Royal Courts - Kuta(Legian)
    After breakfast, we head towards east of the island, to discover rice terraces, sleepy villages, ancient temples and towering volcanos. Stop in the quaint and very well kept countryside village of Penglipuran. Walk along the narrow streets to see the traditional Balinese houses with their typical entrance gates and unique architectural traditions. Continue to the western slopes of Mount Agung where Besakih, the Mother Temple is located. This stunning complex of temples is the most sacred in Bali and is visited at least once a year by all Balinese Hindus for special ceremonies. Have lunch at alocal restaurant with views of rice fields and the backdrop of Mount Agung. Continue to drive southward with stop is at Klungkung to visit the former Royal Courts of Justice known as Kerta Gosa. The highlight here is the unique and elaborately decorated ceiling painting depicting the battle of good versus evil. Arrive at your hotel in Kuta. Dinner and overnight at Kuta.

    Day 06
    Tanah Lot Sea temple - Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest - Legian
    Today we start with the visit to the most famous and photographed temple in Bali, Tanah Lot Sea Temple. The temple, its majestically on a large offshore rock, which has been shaped over the years by the crashing waves of the surrounding sea. After photographing the temple exterior and the unusual rock formations, a short drive from here will bring you to Alas Kedaton, a small forest where mischievous monkeys roam freely through the temple and forest. Transfer back to Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 07
    Benoa Harbour - Lembongan Island
    After breakfast you will be transferred to Benoa Harbour. There you will depart for Lembongan Island on a luxury catamaran to experience the unspoiled charms of a peaceful tropical island. Once transferred to the private Beach Club, you can relax on the golden sands, lie back in the shade of the tranquil gardens, or cool off in the lagoon pool. If the mood takes you, an array of activities includes pool, volleyball, banana boat rides, snorkeling and island excursions. You have possibility also to have a Lembongan village tour. Return to the hotel after a relaxing day. Dinner and overnight in Legian.

    Day 08
    Uluwatu - Kecak Dance - Legian
    Today morning is at leisure. In the late afternoon you will drive to the location of the famous cliff-hanging temple at Uluwatu, perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the temple sits 70 metres above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple, wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana. After the performance drive to one of the beautiful beaches in Jimbaran for a barbeque on a beach warung. Try some kangkung, also known as Indonesian water spinach, and add some heat in the form of sambal, the spicy Indonesian sauce.
